Ode to a disease
So strong is this force
so weak our fantasies
so engulfing all of our energies
so creating remorse
so denying our plea
like a bandit stealing our dreams
Acceptance
....funny word though it's seldom ever heard
we seem to live our lives just sweating to achieve it
though we know it carries bliss
gives life hope and tenderness
our minds just sometimes need to go deceive it....
Humility
...the true way to accepting all that is
giving meaning to reality it lives
humble thoughts and open hearts giving happiness it's start
can never take away more than they give
Detaching
....oh the lightness
the harsh tension it can fade
silent love that's deep within it
sense the peacefulness it's made
letting go just to hold on until the bitter sting is gone
growing quitely inside beneath it's shelter in the shade
Winning
....gracefully whats ours as we sew the seeds of flowers
as we stack the building blocks into a tower
then we gaze onto the world from it's balcony above
and cherish life until the final hour.....

Just surrender to life as it is.
Even though you feel you're through
There will always be another twist
Another road to follow
Another path to find
