Cut-up is an applet for producing text randomly generated from a source text.

You may choose from three source texts or enter your own by pasting into the text box. After choosing your source text, press the button "Load text" and then "Generate poetry". Alternatively press "Load/add poetry" to combine the previous and new texts. More poetry can be generated by pressing the generate button again. (Tip - for Netscape 3.0 users open the java console from the Options menu and the switch back to the web browser window to activate the scroll bars. I believe this is a bug in Netscape Navigator).
